Yoshy Ryu is a character created by Yehoshua Flores in 1998, it is his internet avatar that he uses throughout his internet use.  The  name of his character comes from Yehoshua's nickname, "Yoshy", and from when he was creating the character he joined an online sprite comic based website called Dragon Clan Comics which in order to be a part of he had to create an AIM screen name with "Ryu DCC" added into the screen name. Since then, Yoshy still uses the screen name "Yoshy Ryu DCC". Since the creation of Yoshy Ryu, he has gone through little change in character design. To this day, he has a green jacket, green hat, white shirt, blue pants, and red shoes along with his crazy "rooster" hair. Yehoshua even created several other characters based on Yoshy Ryu, such as Yoshy Nytro and "Kike Man".
